| When I was resourced to build a Screen Saver to the U-571 site, I decided that I wasn't going to build something that would run around on screen or use some flashy senseless motions or try to emulate the feeling of the movie. I thought any effort to emulate the movie would be pathetic, considering the medium.

So I opted for displaying something that would interest a viewer of the movie. If you are excited enough to download the screensaver, it's probably because you like submarines... why not learn about the most important submarines of the 2WW? All slow moving, no sound to bother me, just some good information if I ever came to actually look at the screen. |
