ZED was the coolest project - kind of a chaotic one too. We were starting to build a site and a teaser for this new CBC show that didn't even have a final format yet. The idea was to get people to submit their artistic endeavors online and get voted to fit into a time slot during this daily show. If they were votes as the coolest one, the TV crew would go there (it could be anywhere form Vancouver to the ends of Iqaluit) and take a 10 min. profile on the artist and his art.
We decided to base the teaser on the idea of having a couple of creative guys from this fictitious ad agency discuss how the logo and the name of the show would be and in real time you would see the logo building up, being destroyed, shift into positions, fonts, there were some cool little funny moments in the script... and at the end of that, there were 2 links - for those interested in watching what it was all about, and for those interested in submitting their art. | |
In the end, I didn't have time to animate the logo sequence and the teaser was finally discarded because of problems with the new positioning of the show.
